About us

GIGIPAYNE Studio is a welcoming space I strive to create, bringing the same joy I find in my work to everyone, regardless of their skill level or confidence in trying something new. I find art very therapeutic; it can make an ordinary day thrilling, it calms, it brings joy that you want to share, it gives confidence in our abilities, and it provides knowledge about the world.

I wanted to build a place that serves all these beautiful purposes and serves as a daily reminder for myself and others to appreciate our natural world, our families, ourselves, and our spirit. This appreciation is facilitated through the art relaxation process, available to everyone who is open to this experience. Every single workshop we run at our studio is made with these principles in mind. We also strive to be unique for a reason—besides all marketing purposes—simply because a source of inspiration usually lies in unusual things. These goals drive us at GIGIPAYNE Studio in Bangkok, Thailand.

GIGIPAYNE Co. is a small, human-first enterprise and a close-knit team of enthusiasts with a deep love for art and handcraft. We aim to bring universal values into the most accessible form for all people.

Before founding GIGIPAYNE, I had a professional career in business administration and leadership development coaching, backed by a IO psychology degree. One day, with the support of my close ones, I turned my true passion for art and craft into my career. To change my life, I applied to fashion school in Bangkok, and this is how I discovered and fell in love with textile design, finding a path to my artistic expression.

I founded GIGIPAYNE Studio in 2019 to express my love for nature and the adorable handmade things I always wanted to create since I was a little kid. To be confident in what I am doing, I am always learning and experimenting. Margiela, Dries Van Noten, and Dior were my teachers in school and a source of inspiration to try something "new," yet often very traditional and just forgotten in the modern world. I love experimenting with fabric, prints, and everything I can create with my hands. Besides fashion school, I also traveled and learned from the best in their respective areas to acquire the skills and knowledge required to create admirable handcrafted pieces.
