Natural dyeing has a rich history, from the ancient civilizations of Egypt and India to traditional textile cultures in South America and Asia. Artisans have used natural materials to dye garments and textiles, creating rich and lasting colors while staying connected to the earth’s resources.   • Mordants and Color Fixing

    Understand the role of mordants in fixing colors to fabric. Experiment with different mordants and modifiers to enhance and adjust the hues of your natural dyes.


  • The Dyeing Process

    Engage in the hands-on process of dyeing your chosen fabrics. Immerse your textiles in dye baths, experimenting with different techniques to achieve rich and diverse colors.


  • Unveiling Your Creations

    After dyeing, reveal the beautiful colors that have transferred to your fabrics. Learn techniques for finishing and preserving your naturally dyed textiles to ensure their longevity.


  • Q&A and Discussion

    Conclude the workshop with a Q&A session. Share your experience, ask questions, and discuss how to incorporate natural dyeing into future projects.

What You Will Get: Two handmade cotton scarves or a T-shirt, along with a detailed guidebook allowing you to recreate the natural dyeing process at home.
